Public Busses = Some Interesting People

This week was free ride week on the Corvallis Transit System. This means everyone from the woodwork comes out to ride the bus. Sometimes these people are the people who were too cheap to ride the bus before it was free. And the bus is not expensive at all. And for OSU students it's free. That's why I chose to ride it. It's free, it doesn't require a parking permit, and you have no problem driving around trying to find a parking spot once you're on campus.

One of the first days I rode the bus, there was this guy at the stop with me and he farted. Not only did he fart, but he tried to cover up the fart by coughing about 4 seconds after the fart so that I would think the fart was actually just a cough in his series of coughs. I obviously knew better and he caught on. He said "Sorry man." I said "It's alright." And apparently by me saying it was alright, he took it to mean that I was also experiencing the same gastro-intestinal refluxes because his next words were..."Are you farting too?" I simply said "No" and pulled out my cell phone and started playing with the touch pad so I looked busy. These are the types of people that ride the bus. Also there is a posting of the Corvallis Transit System rules inside the bus. My favorite rule..."No unnecessary conversation with the bus driver." But I don't think many people follow this one.
